What Happened Here?

That is the question. I started this blog as a place where I could toalk about my thoughts on politics and current events. I used to do this on my original blog - http://drunkensamurai.blogspot.com/. Since that blog was dominated by posts relating to Emily I felt kind of dumb for putting posts about silly stuff like politics. With that in mind this blog was born. I managed to get in a few post over about a year but for the last year I have let this one slide.

I still have lots of interest in politics, current events and history. I am reading stuff all the time and thinking about stuff all the time but I never seem to feel motivated to write about these things. Some of the stuff I have been thinking about pobably should not be put in writing. Someday I might want to run for office and having things on a blog might come back to haunt me.

Having said that I do feel I need to write more stuff here and I am going to make an effort to update this blog on a regular basis.
